Carthage Man Facing Criminal Contempt Charge in Jefferson County
VILLAGE OF DEFERIET-A 45 year old Carthage man is facing a Criminal Contempt charge following a report of a domestic incident in the Village of DeFeriet on Saturday morning. New York State Police from the Carthage Barracks charged Troy M. Filiatrault with one count of Criminal Contempt in the 2nd Degree-Disobey Court Order; a Class A misdemeanor. Filiatrault was issued an appearance ticket answerable to the Village of DeFeriet Court at a later date. The incident was “pending investigation” as of Sunday morning’s press time.
