Boonville Police charge Lyons Falls suspect for allegedly violating court protection order

BOONVILLE- A local resident is accused of violating a court order in Northern Oneida County.

At around 5:30 p.m. Saturday, the Village Police Department responded to reports of a domestic dispute.

Investigation revealed the situation involved the violation of an active court issued order of protection. As a result, officers charged Jeremy L. Walters, 23, of Lyons Falls, NY with criminal contempt.

At press time, police said that Walters was processed and transported to Oneida County CAP Court, where he awaited arraignment on the charge.

There were no further details provided.
