Boonville Police investigates fight between two female juveniles that was captured on film

BOONVILLE- The Village Police Department investigated a fight earlier this month between a pair of juveniles.

It happened last Thursday in the public parking lot off from Post Street (near the Elementary School).

Boonville Police says that two female juveniles engaged in what started as a verbal argument, but boiled over to a physical altercation as one female struck the other in the head with her fist, causing injury.

All of this was going on while a third juvenile was right there filming the incident.

According to officials, a 15-year-old suspect was formally arrested and charged with assault in the third-degree.

Due to her age and youthful offender status, a suspect name will not be released. Instead, she was referred to Oneida County Probation to answer the charge.
