Boonville Police: Mohawk Valley resident accused of charges following alleged domestic incident on Church Street

BOONVILLE- A Mohawk Valley resident is faced with various charges stemming from reports of a domestic dispute this week in the village, according to authorities.

Michael J. Seigler, 42, of Utica, NY is officially charged by Boonville Police with one felony count of strangulation in the second-degree; one misdemeanor count of criminal obstruction of breathing and a violation of harassment.

Officer in Charge Fred Robenski told us the arrest stems from complaints of a domestic incident on Church Street.

The incident reportedly occurred on Wednesday.

Seigler was processed and taken to the Oneida County Jail for further arraignment proceedings.
