Local resident accused of intoxicated driving in Forestport, Troopers say

FORESTPORT- A local resident from Northern Oneida County is accused of aggravated intoxicated driving, authorities say.

John A. Combs, 72, of Forestport, NY was arrested Thursday evening by the New York State Police (Remsen). Combs is officially charged with one count each of aggravated DWI and DWI.

According to Troopers, these charges were issued the same day in the town of Forestport.

At press time, police said an investigation was pending. Combs was released to a third party.
