Boonville resident accused of operating while impaired by drugs, criminally possessing controlled substance in Southern Lewis County

LEWIS- A local resident is suspected of operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs in Southern Lewis County.

On Monday, New York State Police (Watertown) announced the arrest of Darin J. Tuttle, 54, of Boonville, NY with one misdemeanor count each of operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs (first offense) and criminally possessing a controlled substance in the seventh-degree.

According to Troopers, these charges were filed Monday afternoon in the town of Lewis.

At press time, authorities said that Tuttle was issued with an appearance ticket.

There were no further details provided.
