Boonville resident accused of shoplifting in Rome, Troopers say

ROME- A resident from Northern Oneida County is accused of shoplifting in Rome, NY, according to authorities.

Victoria I. Maher, 44, of Boonville, NY was arrested Thursday evening by the New York State Police (Lee). Maher is officially charged with one misdemeanor count of petit larceny.

Troopers say this arrest stems from shoplifting complaints filed that afternoon in the city of Rome, NY. Details regarding the alleged incident were not specified.

At press time, police said Maher was issued with an appearance ticket.
