North Country man charged with petit larceny in Watertown: NYSP

WATERTOWN- A North Country man is faced with a charge stemming from an alleged larceny case in Jefferson County, authorities say.

Scott W. Stevenson, 36, of Carthage, NY was arrested Thursday afternoon by the New York State Police (Watertown). He is officially charged with one misdemeanor count of petit larceny.

According to Troopers, the arrest stems from larceny complaints filed in the town of Watertown earlier that same afternoon.

At press time, police said Stevenson was issued with an appearance ticket.

There were no further details provided.
