Boonville resident accused of violating court order in Lewis County, police say

CASTORLAND- A local resident from Northern Oneida County is accused of disobeying a court order following complaints of a domestic incident this week in the North Country, authorities say.

John T. Millard, 45, of Boonville, NY was arrested late Wednesday night by the New York State Police (Carthage). Millard is officially charged with one misdemeanor count of criminal contempt in the second-degree (disobeying court order).

According to Troopers, the arrest stems from an alleged domestic incident in the village of Castorland, NY, as complaints were filed shortly before 11:00 p.m. the same night.

At press time, Millard’s arrest status was listed as central arraignment.

There were no further details provided via the State Police.
