Burglary in Remsen results in felony charges against local resident, Troopers say

REMSEN- A local resident is faced with felony charges after police investigated a burglary over the weekend in Oneida County, authorities say.

Stephen L. Lisi, 31, of Holland Patent, NY was arrested Sunday afternoon by the New York State Police (Remsen). Lisi is formally charged with one felony count each of burglary in the second-degree (dwelling) and grand larceny in the third-degree.

According to Troopers, the arrest stems from an alleged burglary in the town of Remsen, which was first reported to authorities Saturday afternoon.

At press time, police said an investigation was pending and Lisi’s arrest status was listed as held.

There were no further details provided.
