Captain Casey Cook named as new Troop D, Zone Three Commander for NYSP

A new Troop D, Zone Three Commander has been decided for the New York State Police.

Captain Casey A. Cook, 45, of Camden, NY joined the State Police force starting in 2002.

Upon graduating from the 187th Trooper Academy, Cook has taken on a variety of investigative and supervisory positions across numerous stations. In the spring of 2013, Cook was promoted to an Investigator out of Marcy, NY.

For almost the next decade, Cook worked her way up and became a BCI Lieutenant in 2022.

Cook has been a life-long resident of the Central New York area and is a 2002 graduate from SUNY Oswego.

Zone Three encompasses Jefferson, Lewis and Oswego Counties in the Troop D jurisdiction.
