Carthage resident charged with acting in manner injurious to a child (less than 17) and false written statement, Troopers say

ORLEANS & WILNA- A North Country resident is faced with a pair of charges in Jefferson County, authorities say.

Kaden Cear Howard, 21, of Carthage, NY is formally charged by the New York State Police (Alexandria Bay) for one misdemeanor count each of acting in a manner injurious to a child (less than 17) and false written statement.

According to Troopers, the false written statement charge stems from the town of Wilna, while the other charge stems from the town of Orleans.

At press time, police said that Howard was issued with an appearance ticket.

There were no further details provided.
