Carthage resident charged with criminal contempt in Jefferson County: STATE POLICE

ELLISBURG- A resident from the North Country area is accused of violating a court issued order in Jefferson County.

Donald Robert Gibeau, 45, of Carthage, NY was arrested on Monday by the New York State Police (Watertown) for misdemeanor criminal contempt in the second-degree.

According to Troopers, Gibeau is accused of disobeying a court order in the town of Ellisburg on two separate occasions, including January 31 and February 19.

At press time, Gibeau’s arrest status suggested an appearance for centralized arraignment.

There were no further details provided.
