Carthage Resident Facing Charges after Alleged Domestic Dispute

VILLAGE OF CARTHAGE-A 25 year old Carthage man was arrested early Sunday morning following a report of a domestic dispute in the Village of Carthage. New York State Police from the Carthage Barracks charged Garret W. Shampine with one count each of Criminal Obstruction of Breathing or Blood Circulation-Apply Pressure and Criminal Mischief-Intent to Damage Property: both Class A misdemeanors. Shampine was transported to Jefferson  County Central Arraignment for processing and no further details were released as of press time.
