Carthage Woman Charged with D.W.I. in the Village of Lowville

VILLAGE OF LOWVILLE-A 39 year old Carthage woman was arrested for D.W.I. early Saturday morning following a vehicle stop on South State Street in the Village of Lowville. According to Lewis County Sheriff’s Deputies, Nicole Walseman failed to stop at the intersection of Route 26 and South State Street. Following the traffic stop, Walseman reportedly failed field sobriety tests at the scene. She was transported to the Lewis County Safety Building where she reportedly registered a .15% blood alcohol content. She was charged with Driving while Intoxicated and issued appearance tickets. Walseman will answer the charges in the Town of Lowville Court.
