JEFFERSON COUNTY-A 30 year old Carthage woman is accused of writing bad checks in three separate Jefferson County jurisdictions. New York State Police from Alexandria Bay, and Pulaski Barracks arrested Brittany A. Standridge in the Town of Pamila on Friday and charged her with three separate incidents that were reported last month. In the City of Watertown, Standridge was charged with one count each of Grand Larceny in the 4th Degree-Property value greater than $1,000.00; a Class E felony and Issuing a Bad Check with known Insufficient Funds; a Class B misdemeanor. In the Town of Clayton, Standridge was charged with Petit Larceny, a Class A misdemeanor and Issuing a Bad Check with known Insufficient Funds, a Class B misdemeanor. In the Village of Pulaski, she is charged with Petit Larceny, a Class A misdemeanor and Issuing a Bad Check with known Insufficient Funds, a Class B misdemeanor. Standridge was issued appearance tickets for all charges and will answer the charges in the City of Watertown, Town of Clayton, and Village of Pulaski Courts at a later date. The incident in the Village of Pulaski remains under investigation.
