Cedars Golf Course will host 8th annual Jefferson-Lewis Golf Tournament to benefit Volunteer Transportation Center

LOWVILLE- The 8th annual Jefferson-Lewis Golf Tournament to support the Volunteer Transportation Center (VTC) is aimed for later on this summer.

Once again hosted thanks to Cedars Golf Course, the tournament, which will be shotgun start, is scheduled for Saturday, September 9.

“Our tournament continues to increase in its popularity and we raise more and more crucial funding every year,” said VTC Director of Communications and Foundation Director Jeremiah Papineau.

“Last year, we raised more than $20,000, which is huge for the services the VTC provides.”

Registration costs are $360 per-team which includes a cart, dinner and tournament shirt.

Skins and super skins may be purchased at registration. Raffles and a 50-50 drawing will also round out the event. ***Only the first 36 teams to register can be included.
