***ALERT: Governor Kathy Hochul has declared a State of Emergency in portions of the Western New York, Finger Lakes, Central New York and North Country regions as those areas are set to receive multiple feet of lake effect snow. Locally, this includes Herkimer, Jefferson, Lewis, Oswego and St. Lawrence counties.

***Lake Effect Snow Warnings remain in effect through Friday for the Tug Hill Region and Old Forge/Western Adirondacks Region.

***A Travel Advisory remains in effect for all of Lewis County until further notice. 

Closings, Cancellations and Delays as of 3:05 P.M.

Adirondack CSD: No after school activities.

Beaver Falls Library: CLOSED.

Beaver River CSD: Dismissing early @ 12:40 p.m. No afternoon Pre-K or BOCES; tonight's capital project vote will be rescheduled for sometime in January or February.

Denmark Town Clerk's Office: CLOSED.

Howard G. Sackett Technical Center: No afternoon BOCES.

Jefferson Community College: CLOSED.

Lewis County Offices: All Lewis County Offices CLOSED at 2 p.m. for non-essential personnel. Operating virtually starting at 2:30 P.M. 

Lewis County OFA: Copenhagen, Croghan, Lowville and Harrisville Meal Sites CLOSED.

Lewis County Public Transportation: JCC Connector Route and Fort Drum Circuit Route are not running today, due to weather.

Loony Goose Gastropub: CLOSED.

Lowville Academy: Early dismissal @ 12:35 P.M. No afternoon Pre-K or BOCES; Third and Fourth Grade Christmas Concert tonight will be rescheduled.

Opportunities Knocks Thrift Store (New Bremen): Closing at noon.

South Lewis CSD: No after school activities; tonight's concert will be rescheduled.

Town of Lowville Court: CLOSED. All cases will be rescheduled to January 9, 2025 @ 4 P.M.

Town of Watson Justice Court: CANCELED.
