Cold Brook resident accused of felony fraud charges in Oneida County: NYSP

MARCY- A local resident is faced with felony fraud charges in Oneida County, authorities say.

Christy L. Potter, 41, of Cold Brook, NY was arrested Thursday night by the New York State Police (Marcy). Potter is formally charged with one felony count each of grand larceny in the second-degree (property value exceeding $50,000) and forgery in the second-degree (deed/will/contract).

According to Troopers, these charges were all filed in the town of Marcy, stemming from complaints received in February.

At press time, Potter’s arrest status was listed as held and police said an investigation was pending.

No further details were available from the State Police.
