Kuyahoora Valley resident charged with aggravated DWI, Troopers say

RUSSIA- A resident from the Kuyahoora Valley area is accused of aggravated intoxicated driving, authorities are reporting.

Charles E. Guyer, 38, of Newport, NY was arrested early Friday by the New York State Police (Herkimer). Guyer is officially charged with one count each of aggravated DWI (per se-no prior) and DWI.

According to Troopers, the arrest was made following a traffic stop shortly after 1:00 a.m. in the town of Russia.

At press time, police said Guyer was released to a third-party.
