Boonville Lumberjacks 2023

BOONVILLE- It seems as if though there has been a lot of uncertainty for the future of summer baseball in Boonville, NY, especially on the heels of all that happened right before last season began.

With that being said, fans can be assured that the ball park will be lit-up and alive with plenty of baseball action for summer, 2023.

Boonville’s PGCBL team has always been known as the Adirondack Trailblazers and despite last-year’s temporary Boonville Baseball Club lable, the team will return as the ‘Lumberjacks.’

“It’s exciting to be back doing something I loved for so many years,” said new owner and PGCBL veteran, Butch Russo.  “I can’t wait to bring an exciting new brand of baseball to the Boonville community.”

Russo has 13-years of summer collegiate baseball experience. For over a decade, he previously owned and managed the Utica Brewers, or currently known as the Utica Blue Sox.

Schedules are anticipated this winter or very early spring.

Stay tuned, we plan on airing host family information soon.
