Deputies charge Lewis County man for allegedly violating court order

WATSON- A local resident is accused of violating an order of protection in Lewis County, authorities say.

Randy R. Grimmer, 40, of Watson, NY was arrested Sunday morning by the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office. Grimmer is officially charged with one count of criminal contempt in the second-degree.

Police were called out shortly before 11:00 a.m. for reports of someone violating an order of protection in Watson.

Deputies allege that Grimmer violated such order. Details specifying the incident were not included by the Sheriff’s Office.

Grimmer was released with an appearance ticket, which is returnable to Watson Town Court.
