LOWVILLE- A local resident from Lewis County is accused of touching a co-worker in what authorities say was an inappropriate area.

Joshua J. Staring, 24, of Lowville, NY was arrested on Tuesday by the Sheriff’s Office and formally charged with one misdemeanor count of forcible touching.

Deputies investigated complaints recently where Staring, while employed at the Lowville Walmart, allegedly grabbed another employee there in an inappropriate area.

Staring was processed at the Public Safety Building and issued with an appearance ticket, which is returnable to Lowville Town Court at a later date.
