Disturbance near Tops Markets in Lowville results in disorderly conduct charge against local resident

LOWVILLE- A disturbance this week outside of a grocery store in the village has resulted in the arrest of a local woman.

Lowville Police said they responded to Tops Market on Tuesday. As a result of their investigation, officers said that Adela J. Edick, 23, of Lowville, NY was formally charged with disorderly conduct.

Based on police reports, Edick was advised numerous times to stop screaming. She is also accused of attempting to argue with another person in front of the store.

Upon being issued with an appearance ticket, Edick was released and is due to answer the charge in Lowville Town Court at a later date.

There were no further details released describing the incident.
