OTTER LAKE- Emergency responders – including a dive team – searched the waters of a local lake Wednesday after authorities received claims of a swimmer, who was possibly missing.
It was at around 3:40 p.m. when agencies in Otter Lake were called to organize a search near the Teddy Bear Lane area.
According to the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office, the Town of Webb Police assisted with interviewing nearby residents. Meanwhile, the dive team from Old Forge Fire Department executed a search of the waters nearby.
When all was said and done, police said as of their latest press release that no persons have officially been reported missing.
Old Forge Ambulance was called to the scene to standby. Officials say the scene has since cleared of emergency responders.
