LEYDEN- A local man is accused of offenses stemming from reports of a domestic incident this week in Southern Lewis County, authorities say.

Andrew M. LoCash, 25, of Port Leyden, NY was arrested Thursday night by the New York State Police (Lowville). He is officially charged with one misdemeanor count each of menacing in the second-degree (w/a weapon) and criminally possessing a weapon in the fourth-degree (w/intent to use).

According to Troopers, these charges all stem from complaints of an alleged domestic dispute that same evening in the town of Leyden.

At press time, police said an investigation was pending.
