Troopers: Boonville man accused of violating order of protection in Leyden

LEYDEN- A local man is accused of violating an order of protection in Southern Lewis County, authorities say.

John T. Millard, 44, of Boonville, NY was arrested Thursday morning by the New York State Police (Lowville). He is officially charged with one misdemeanor count of criminal contempt in the second-degree (disobeying court order).

According to Troopers, the arrest stems from complaints filed that same day in the town of Leyden.

At press time, Millard’s arrest status was listed as bail/bond.
