Domestic incident in Ava results in felony, misdemeanor charge against Oneida County resident

AVA- A domestic incident in the Northern part of Oneida County has resulted in charges filed against a local resident.

On Monday evening, the New York State Police (Lee) arrested and charged Derek R. Still, 39, of Ava, NY with one felony count of criminal mischief in the third-degree and one misdemeanor count of criminal obstruction of breathing.

Troopers say the arrest stems from a reported domestic incident Monday evening in the town of Ava.

At press time, Stills’ arrest status suggested an appearance made for centralized arraignment.

There were no further details provided.
