Domestic incident results in acting in a manner injurious to a child charge against local resident in Lewis County

NEW BREMEN- A reported domestic incident toward the end of last month in Lewis County has resulted in the arrest of a local resident.

Janay L. Scott, 29, of Lowville, NY was formally charged on Wednesday evening by the New York State Police (Lowville) for one misdemeanor count of acting in a manner injurious to a child (under 17).

According to Troopers, this charge stems from a reported domestic incident on January 30 in the town of New Bremen.

At press time, police said an investigation was pending. Meanwhile, Scott was issued with an appearance ticket.

There were no further details provided.
