Drivers, passengers involved in Forestport collision evaluated for non-life threatening injuries

ONEIDA COUNTY- No serious injuries have been reported stemming from a two vehicle accident Sunday evening in Northern Oneida County, emergency responders say.

It happened on State Route 28 in the town of Forestport shortly before 7:00 p.m. As of this report, Sheriff’s Office investigation suggests there was a collision between a northbound Honda Civic and a southbound Ford Bronco.

Stephen Mullally, 70, of North Chili, NY was the driver of the Civic and reportedly crossed over a double yellow line, colliding with Sarah Scouten, 25, the driver of the Bronco, Deputies said.

All parties involved, including three passengers from Scouten’s Bronco, were all taken to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital for what has been described by authorities as non-life threatening injuries.

As of press time, the accident remains under investigation.

Forestport Fire Department, STaR and Old Forge Ambulance all assisted.
