Drivers warned to beware of rising gas prices with spring demand and latest overseas attacks in Middle East

Warmer months on the horizon typically signals a rise in gas prices as fuel demand increases for the upcoming driving season, but experts warn your wallet will very likely feel an even worse pinch with the latest attacks overseas in the Middle East.

According to the AAA as of February 26, California ranked the most expensive U.S. gas market at $4.63 per-gallon, with Hawaii following closely behind at $4.40.

As of this publication, Oklahoma reigns amongst the cheapest gas markets at $2.43.

In New York State on March 3, gas rang in at an average price of $3.04. Last year at this time, it was only slightly higher at $3.15, the AAA said.

The national average gas price on March 3 was $3.10.
