DWI charges filed against local resident in Rome: NYSP

ROME- A local resident is accused of intoxicated driving in Oneida County, authorities say.

Mukta C. Hoke, 38, of Holland Patent, NY was arrested shortly after midnight on Tuesday by the New York State Police (Lee). Hoke is formally charged with one misdemeanor count each of DWI (first offense) and operating a motor vehicle (w/a .08 of 1% BAC or greater).

According to Troopers, the arrest was made in the city of Rome, NY. At press time, there was no arrest status listed for Hoke.
