Felony charge lodged against Boonville resident for alleged criminal possession of stolen property in Lewis County

GREIG- A felony charge has been lodged against a local resident for allegedly possessing stolen property in Lewis County.

On Thursday evening, the New York State Police (Lowville) arrested and charged James J. Lynch, 36, of Boonville, NY with one felony count of criminally possessing stolen property in the fourth-degree (values exceeding $1,000).

According to Troopers, this arrest stems from a larceny complaint filed in the town of Greig on September 16.

At press time, Lynch’s arrest status was listed as cash bail, with an amount of $25,000.
