Felony DWI arrest made in wake of personal injury wreck near Forestport, Troopers say

FORESTPORT- A personal injury wreck has resulted in a felony DWI arrest in Oneida County.

Emergency responders were dispatched around 1:30 a.m. Monday to reports of an accident on State Route 28 in Forestport.

According to the New York State Police, Amber T. Finnegan, 43, of Barneveld, NY has been formally charged with one felony count of DWI (w/a previous conviction within the past ten-years).

At press time, authorities said one injury was confirmed in the wreck, but specifics were not available.
