Felony larceny, fraud charges lodged against local trio following town of Lee investigation

LEE- Three residents from Oneida County are all faced with numerous fraud related charges, including felonies, following an investigation in the town of Lee.

According to the New York State Police (Marcy), William T. Coleman, 51, and Debbra J. Young, 72, both of Rome, NY were arrested and charged on Tuesday with one felony count each of grand larceny in the third-degree and identity theft in the first-degree, while a third suspect, Tina M. Campos, 55, also of Rome, NY, was charged with one felony count of falsifying business records in the first-degree, along with one misdemeanor count each of identity theft in the third-degree and unlawfully possessing a personal ID in the third-degree.

According to investigators, all of these charges trace back to complaints of a town of Lee larceny investigation, which was filed in February.

At press time, police said all three suspects were released on their own recognizance.
