LEWIS COUNTY- A development has surfaced concerning Friday night's blaze in Lewis County.
As previously reported, Three G Fire Department was the primary responder, with Constableville, Lyons Falls, Martinsburg and Turin providing mutual aid.
It happened sometime shortly before 7:30 p.m. at 6039 Duncan Road, which is located just west of Glenfield, NY.
The address is reportedly owned by Patrick Millard.
No injuries were reported, but the home and garage are deemed to be a total loss. With that said, the property was insured.
There is no active investigation, as fire investigators point blame towards a pellet stove that malfunctioned.
As reported originally, firefighters had to endure harsh winter conditions while battling this blaze.
Both the towns of Martinsburg and Turin Highway Departments assisted.
