Forestport Man Accused of Assaulting another Person in Lyons Falls
LYONS FALLS-A 39 year old Forestport man was arrested after allegedly assaulting another individual in the parking lot of the Dollar General in Lyons Falls on Monday, November 20th. Following an investigation into the incident, Lewis County Sheriff’s Deputies determined that Richard K. Yelton Jr. reportedly assaulted the individual causing bodily harm. Yelton was charged with Assault in the 3rd Degree and recklessly causing injury to another. He was processed at the Public Safety Building and arraigned in the Town of Croghan C.A.P. Court where he was released with an appearance ticket. Yelton will answer the charges in the Town of West Turin Court at a later date.
