Lowville resident charged for using a motor vehicle without owner's permission, police say

LOWVILLE- A local resident in Lewis County is accused of using a vehicle without the owner’s permission, authorities say.

Adela Edick, 20, of Lowville, NY was arrested by the Village Police Department last Wednesday. Edick was officially charged with one misdemeanor count of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle in the third-degree.

According to police officers, Edick allegedly took and used a 2015 GMC Acadia, without granted permission from the owner.

At press time, authorities said Edick was issued with an appearance ticket, which is returnable to Lowville Town Court at a later date.

There were no further details provided.
