
Gas prices continue their steady decline as we near the winter season.
As of this report, the national average for a gallon of gas was $3.14, cheaper than $3.30 one-year-ago now, according to the AAA.
In New York, average gas prices are still sitting just under $3.50. A month ago, New York gas prices were nearly $3.90. Last-year at this time, prices were nearly identical to now.
As of this update, fuel prices around the Boonville, Lowville and Old Forge areas ranged as low as $3.49.
If you venture up to Watertown, you will find gas prices as cheap as $3.21, according to GasBuddy.
Similar prices as low as $3.39 are being found near the Syracuse, NY area. Heading east, you will find gas prices as low as $3.34 in Albany, NY.
Prices in the Utica area were very similar to Boonville and Lowville as of this report.
