Glenfield Man Arrested following Investigation into Money Missing from Safe at 3-G Fire Department

TOWN OF MARTINSBURG-A 44 year old Glenfield man was arrested on September 9^th following an investigation at the 3 G Volunteer Fire Department. Lewis County Sheriff’s deputies said Richard E. McLane was seen on camera entering a safe that was later missing over $1,000.00. McLane was charged with one count each of Criminal Tampering in the 3^rd Degree, a Class B misdemeanor and Grand Larceny in the 4^th Degree with the Value of Property greater than $1,000.00, A Class E felony. McLane was arraigned in the Town of Martinsburg Court and released on his own recognizance.
