Harrisville Man Charged with D.W.I.

TOWN OF DIANA-A 55 year old Harrisville man is accused of D.W.I. following an early Saturday morning vehicle stop in the Town of Diana. New York State Police from the Carthage Barracks charged Michael A. Benware with one count each of Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Blood Alcohol Content of .08 of 1%-First Offense and Driving While Intoxicated-First Offense. Benware was given appearance tickets and will answer the charges in the Town of Diana Court at a later date. The incident is pending investigation and no further details were released.
