House severely damaged by flames Sunday in town of Ohio

OHIO- A home was severely damaged by flames over the weekend in Herkimer County, emergency officials report.

It happened shortly after noontime on Sunday, according to 9-1-1 dispatchers.

Poland Fire Department was the primary responder to 414 Reese Road, town of Ohio. The caller said their house was on fire.

Barneveld, Middleville, Newport & Remsen Fire Departments and Kuyahoora Ambulance all responded to assist.

Firefighters arrived on scene to a fully involved structure fire. We don’t have any reports for now regarding any possible injuries.

As of this update, there was no confirmed or likely cause of this fire identified by emergency responders.
