Port Leyden man accused of criminal contempt in Madison County, Troopers say

MADISON- A local North Country resident is facing charges in the wake of a domestic dispute complaint in Madison County, authorities say.

Brian A. Nagy, 33, of Port Leyden, NY was arrested Monday morning by the New York State Police (Morrisville). Nagy is officially charged with two misdemeanor counts of criminal contempt in the second-degree (disobeying court order).

According to Troopers, these charges were issued in the wake of an alleged domestic dispute last-month in the town of Madison.

At press time, police said an investigation was pending, with evidence.

Nagy was issued with an appearance ticket and there were no further details provided.
