LEWIS COUNTY- An Amazon delivery van was removed from a seasonal road in the southern portion of Tug Hill after being abandoned there over the weekend.

As reported by the Osceola Snowmobile Association, they found the van, completely abandoned, on the Potter Road in the town of Osceola.

Video footage on social media shows a groomer hooking up to the van and towing it back to civilization.

Officials from the Sheriff’s Office confirm that the driver of this delivery van got stuck after taking a wrong turn and walked away for help.

Before the groomer came out to the rescue, officials stated how Amazon sent out some of their own crew to retrieve the stuck van, but had no success.

There were no injuries reported.
