
ROME- One fatality has been confirmed as investigators are looking into a fire that sparked on Friday night.
It happened at an apartment building on East Dominick Street sometime around 6:00 p.m., according to Oneida County Emergency Dispatch.
The fire occurred in a three story building, as the first floor was unoccupied business space, while the second and third floors housed apartment spaces.
For now, fire investigators have confirmed that one person died in the fire, while the Red Cross is currently assisting two other victims.
