ICYMI: State Police identify victim in fatal Tug Hill snowmobile accident

JEFFERSON COUNTY- The victim who was killed in last Thursday’s snowmobile accident on Tug Hill has been identified.

State Police say that Joseph R. DiDomenico, 55, of Liverpool, NY was riding along Junction 306, a trail near the Waite Road, town of Worth. It was just before 1:00 p.m. when DiDomenico disembarked from his sled and was struck by a 16-year-old male, who was also from Liverpool, NY and was a part of their riding group.

DiDomenico was taken to Samaritan Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased.

At press time last week, State Police Investigators clarified that the incident appears to be completely accidental, as there were no signs of impairment.
