BOONVILLE- Firefighters were called out late Friday morning to the scene of a structure fire just north of the village.

It happened just shortly before noontime, as Boonville was the primary fire department on scene, with Constableville providing mutual aid. 

According to the latest updates from Boonville Fire Chief Dave Pritchard Jr., emergency responders have determined the cause of this blaze sparked from a controlled burn at 3425 East Road.

The flames reportedly spread from the burn to a garage and then to a trailer.

The Fire Chief said that everything is a total loss, but there were no injuries reported.

The New York State DEC is investigating.
