Inlet celebrates successful ‘Shop with a Cop’

INLET- Another police agency in the Western Adirondacks has announced a successful day helping make Christmas a little brighter for local kids.

With Town of Webb Police just celebrating their ‘Shop with a Cop’ earlier this week, the Town of Inlet Police followed suit with their own Thursday.

Much like what was organized in Old Forge, kids who took park in Inlet had an evening that included dinner with their local police officers. The event was anchored at the Inlet Hardware/Department Store and Mountain and Main Gift Shop.

Children went home with a gift and other goodies for their families.

On behalf of the Inlet Police Department, Chief Johnston would once again like to thank everyone who donated towards the effort.
