BOONVILLE- Opening day for Boonville baseball and their inaugural PGCBL season as the Lumberjacks is on the horizon.

First pitch at the Dr. Roberts Smith Sports Complex and BYAA Ball Fields, 220 Line Drive, is aimed for Thursday, June 1 at 6:45 p.m. "We're looking forward to showing the community a great brand, a great game of baseball," said General Manager Peter Faughnan.

"We are very pleased with the reception that we have had."

While the general cost of day-to-day living remains high, the Lumberjacks are offering a season deal for any and every home game. For just $30, you can score a family grand slam: four admission tickets, four hotdogs, four popcorn snacks and four sodas.
