Oneida County Jeep roll-over accident results in fatality, Trooper say

ONEIDA COUNTY- A local man is deceased in the wake of a one vehicle accident over the weekend in Oneida County.

It was shortly after 5:30 a.m. Sunday when emergency responders were called out to the Steuben Valley Road, town of Trenton. 9-1-1 dispatchers reported a one vehicle roll-over.

According to investigation via the New York State Police, Russell A. Lazarek, 21, of Holland Patent, NY was driving a 2020 Jeep westbound.

While approaching Post Road, Troopers say Lazarek went off the roadway and down an embankment. He was ejected after the Jeep overturned numerous times.

Emergency responders pronounced Lazarek deceased on scene.

Members of Barneveld Fire Department and STaR Ambulance assisted.
